- one cup evaporated milk
- one cup white sugar
- three egg yolk, beaten with one teaspoon water
- one/two cup margarine
- one teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- one cup flaked coconut

- In a massive saucepan combine evaporated milk, sugar, egg yolks, margarine and vanilla. Cook in excess of lower heat, stirring consistently, until finally thick. Eliminate from heat and stir in pecans and coconut. Spread on cake although nevertheless warm.
