Chili cheese dip


  • one pound method cheese (Velveeta), cubed
  • 1 can (15 ounces) chili con carne with no beans
  • 1 can (four ounces) chopped green chilies
  • Tortilla chips


  • Mix cheese, chili and chilies in a saucepan or fondue pot. Heat above medium-low, stirring frequently, until the cheese melts. Serve warm with tortilla chips.

Added a jar of salsa to zip it up, also have added 1/2 lb. browned ground beef.Very tasty.

I make this all the time but I always use a can Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilis. Considering that we like items spicy I use the sizzling tomatoes and this makes a fantastic dip. The tomatoes give it some texture and far more taste but it truly is excellent with or with out them.
